IKImageView - image erase left overs

I'm copying and pasting a cropped image from one view to another and then erase it.
The first copy and paste is OK, but on the consecutive pastings the image appears with crop marks and after erasing the small circles defining the cropping area remain.
Is this a bug? Is there a work around?_______________________________________________
