chaining animations

  • Subject: chaining animations

Hi everyone,

Can someone point out what is the standard way to chain animations? I'm trying to animate several UIViews (one after the other) that are container into an NSMutableArray, and at this point I'm just doing something like the following:

- (void) insert {

	if ([array count] > 0) {

		AnimatedObject *object = [array lastObject];

		// register as an observer
		[[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector(insert) name:@"ObjectAdded" object:object];

		[scrollView addAnimatedObject:object];
		[array removeLastObject];
	}
}

So the added object posts a notification to the default center when it's done with the animation. This seems to work, but there should be an easier way to accomplish the same thing. Any suggestions? Thank you,

aa
