Is it possible to have a plist date to be null?

Greetings:
I would like to be able to have nulled (no-value) for a data type in a plist.
But I can't create an empty date entity via the Property List Editor.

Question: can I have an empty value for a date, or must I resort to an empty string?

Ric.
