I disabled the "Default Calibrator" extension so I won't have two
calibration methods going at once.
How did this strange rumor ever get started? You don't need to disable
the extension. It doesn't do anything unless you hit the "Calibrate"
button in the Monitors control panel.
Unless you are hypnotically drawn to the Monitors control panel, and
against your own will find yourself clicking the Calibrate button,
there's no need to remove the extension. And if that does happen,
you're better off consulting a psychiatrist or an exorcist.
