LCD Screens

Hi!
I have some quick questions about LCD Screens. Do they need to be warmed up for an hour before calibrating? Do they hold their calibration longer than CRTs? If yes, how often is it recommended to calibrate them? I understand the issues with "color critical work" on LCDs so that is not a part of this equation. It is more getting the colors reasonably accurate for presentations.
