Bruce,
It seems to me that digital cameras are inherently difficult to profile
because the profile of the camera depends upon its operating
conditions: Each time the white point is changed, and when the ISO
speed is changes, the gamut of the camera changes. Perhaps the "shutter"
speed has an effect as well. Does this seem a reasonable assumption?
Sorry if some of these ideas were previously mentioned -- I didn't read
all the past posts.
