John Zimmerer asked us:
If you could design your ideal scanner workflow and UI, what would they
look like?
What's your supposed application? Some few images a day, week, month?
Do you ask a skilled and trained scanner operator, or a novice?
Some like to do all the work, image by image, in Photoshop. Other
like the idea of "printready" images direct out of the scanner
application. High volume, batch scanning.
Scanning high volumes to say, an rgb based image database, probably
require a different UI and functionality than scanning a few images a
day/week.
I favour an ICC compliant scanner software that allow for "print
reday" images as well as colour corrected rgb archive images.
PS. I also, ofcourse, want every possible "bell and wistle" there is.
