I don't see more patches being a benefit if you don't need them. Full CMYK
control? Well more than EyeOne Match but it's questionable if that's
necessary for many users (like those that don't care about scanner
profiles).

So there is a bundle that does displays with the Spyder, output profiles,
but not scanner profiles and it's less than $3K? How much less? And does
that include Optical or PhotoCal?
I'm not saying both packages have certain qualities and advantages. But
let's not ignore features. Scanner profiling is certainly something people
expect in a package.
