Here are a few notes:
* Your video card must support modifiable video LUT's.
* After calibrating and profiling your monitor make sure your software
either automatically designates the resultant profile as the default
display profile in your video card color management properties. This is
accomplished by right clicking on the desktop - properties - settings -
advanced - color management. Here is where you either already had your
resultant display profile loaded by your profiling application or you
have to manually add the profile.
** If you're using ColorBlind ProveIt! with anything prior to version
4.0, this was a manual process of navigating to the appropriate 'color'
folder, however, version 4.0 automatically loads the profile.
Photoshop 6 on XP
** Color wise, we see no real issues in assign profile, converting to
profile, or employing a soft-proof, although a discussion between the
vast CMS aficionados over whether there is a difference between using
the Apple CMM and the Microsoft CMM would be interesting.
