Hi all,
I'm a newbie to all this color calibration, but I do
have some info that might help with Greyscale
printing.
I took a workshop recently with Jon Cone (of
Piezography fame) who does similar greyscale printing
with quadtone and hex inks on Epsons. The one thing I
had to have repeated to me much more than once was
that "there are no ICC profiles for B&W". ICC is a
color convention.
Joh Cone does have a workflow for calibrating B&W
previews of your image with monotone inks for your
specific paper. Take a look at his website...I think
the address is:
http://www.piezography.com/
There is a lot of information there, and a good
knowledge base about these things.
Hope this is useful...
