On dye printers both Epson and HP (can't say for sure with Canon...) the
yellow ink is the first to change, and most noticeable in the overprinting
solids, so greens deep reds. The Epson dyes leave the reds with a blueness
when the yellow disappears, the HP have a hue shift and lightness change yet
not always in the direction expected. Sometimes darker sometimes lighter,
curious indeed.
