Not good. I doubt if they are good fro your health either.
Many years ago a University professor published an article in
"Scientific American" that showed a very, very small correlation
between people who lived close to high voltage power lines and the
incidence of certain cancers. A close friend of mine wrote the author
and pointed out that most power companies spray the power line
right-of-ways with defoliant which have been shown to contain
carcinogens. He asked if the author had allowed for this. The author
replied that his research grant did not cover that kind of research.
So much for open minded academic research.
The human race has a ways to go before it really knows how to do
objective science research in some areas. And then there is color
science...a very young science indeed...
