I am making my own synthetic SG color checker chart for
printer profile evaluation.
I first read in my actual sg color checker chart with my
lino / scan using the measure tool.
I saved the file as both a .lab file and spectral.
When I load in the .lab file into color lab, I then do a “filter”
“conversion” “image” then I do a “save as”
.tif file.
I load that into PS CS2, but when I do so the colors are all
weird.
If I use the Spectral file out of measure app then load that
into color lab, do a “filter” “conversion” “image”
then I do a “save as” .tif
Open up in PS CS2, this works.
Am I suppose to be using the spectral version in color lab
to make a useable .tif file that I can then go into PS CS2, do a image size, nearest
neighbor. Or should I be using the lab file from measure app, but I am doing
something wrong in color lab.
Thanks
