This may prove difficult to follow, but some help and answers would be greatly appreciated.
Using CS2 with Mac OSX 10.4 , have successfully created RGB printer profile on Epson 2100 and calibrated - profiled the monitor.
1) Print RGB image from PhotoShop to 2100, result is excellent and very close match to display (Photoshop - View Proof set up)
2) Then have used Bridge to synchronize col mngmnt between CS2 apps.
3) Place same RGB image, with assigned profile, in InDesign, export to PDF.
4) View PDF in Acrobat, with Proof setup and 'softproof' matches exactly to Proof set up 'softproof' in Photoshop.
5) However, when printing from Acrobat, using the same RGB printer profile, the result is much darker than the successful print from Photoshop.
Before everyone starts belting me, please realize that I have all ready successfully completed this same type of colour matching, PhotoShop print = Acrtobat Print, using Photoshop CS, Quark 6 & Acrobat 7. It was simple and painless.
I have glossed some details here, but please, advice and help would be appreciated to fix this dilemma.
David
