Hi Carolyn,
I’ve made tests with Photoshop CS and CS2 about the conversion from
CMYK to RGB with Absolute Colorimetric and found that Photoshop CS2
with ACE make the correct white point simulation. Previous version of
Photoshop (CS) with ACE OR Apple CMM make the WRONG white point
simulation.
So, I think that Adobe have fixed a problem that was related to their
own CMM (ACE) and as for the Apple CMM.
Hope this help!

Absolute Colormetric conversions from output profiles to RGB using
ACE in PSCS2 gives me incorrect white compared to the same in PSCS1

the ACE AbCol PSCS2 combo seems to be broken. I've seen no mention of
this anywhere, can anyone here corroborate, or if not, suggest a
solution? I'm in 10.4.1...
Thank you,
