Hi,
I spent Sunday evening scanning the web then this morning also trying
to purchase Spectraview II software. Nothing as far as a place to
actually purchase it. USA im referring to.
Then after about 40mins on the phone (being serious ) the very nice
customer service person was able to find me a "Name of a person i
should call".
I called and they are out until tomorrow.
Ive left messages with the alternatives that were mentioned in his
absence but no returned calls from them either.
Stay tuned.
This will be worth revisiting.

Graeme,
Can you point to any official statement from NEC that there are in
fact
"SpectraView" versions of their LCD2690WUXi monitors, and that they
are not
just LCD2690WUXi's bundled with software, a hood and a colorimeter ?
On the European (UK) NEC website you'll find both:
- MultiSyncR LCD2690WUXi (listed under Professional Displays) and
- SpectraViewR 2690(listed under Color Management Displays)

The SpectraView 2690 datasheet lists 'SpectraViewR Certifier
document' under
shipping content, see
