Hello Todd,

As Marco pointed out, ISO-3664 mandates D65 when viewing images in isolation. But when viewing images side by side with a desktop viewing booth, D50 is the standard, as described in ISO-12646. I realize many list members, over the years, have reported good visual matches between their monitors and images viewed in their desktop viewing booth at D65, but that has not been my personal experience. This needs D50.
