Robin and Graeme,

What is the light source used to read transparency values in SpectraShop and
Argyll?

So far, the only transparencies readings I've done were taken using Gretag
Macbeth's old Spectrolino/Spectroscan T, which would shine its own built-in
light source behind the transmissive specimen.
