My friend is trying to print the non-color managed targets via Aperture.
According to previous responses, it is not possible to print from Aperture
without selection an output profile. I'm usually printing from Photoshop
directly, or through my RIP, so I'm not familiar with Aperture. If there's a
way for him to print from Aperture with NO COLOR MANAGEMENT, please let me
know. He understands how to turn it off in the printer driver.

Thanks,
Bob

In what way and with what applications and printer drivers.

I can successfully print unmanaged targets with...

Canon ipf series 10.6 drivers from PSCS4 (new path) setting No Color
Management and Indesign no CM (old path).

Epson 9600 PSCS4 (new path, 3.09 driver) setting Printer Manages Color, by
fooling it (tagging only) into thinking it is a sRGB image thus no
additional conversion, and Indesign no CM (old path). Both of these
applications print unmanaged targets identical as well as the a profiled
print using the same profile with tricking the driver/colorsync combo by
converting to printer profile in PS and then by fooling it (assigning sRGB)
into thinking it is a sRGB image thus no additional conversion

Others have reported it can also be done with Preview but I have not had a
need to try that.
