No.

Yep, as long as you turn off all effects in iTunes (Sound Enhancer,
EQ, per-track volume, Sound Check) and set the iTunes volume control to
max (there is also a pref to always set it to max when an AirTunes
speaker is selected). Works great!
Note that Dolby Digital tracks *typically* won't work because they are
usually at a 48kHz sample rate. If you have one that is at 44.1kHz,
it'll work.
