Hi,
I've just had a situation where my plug-in is failing (badly) but
auval did not catch it.
It's a generator AU which can be mono or stereo:
FORMAT TESTS:
Reported Channel Capabilities (explicit):
[0, 1] [0, 2]
No Input, Output Chans:
0-1 0-2 0-4 0-5 0-6 0-7 0-8
X X
auval only does a render test on the stereo configuration. If it had
tested the mono config it would've failed, which would've been very
helpful.
So please consider this a request to add more exhaustive render tests.
