Where did you get this package? On a Tiger system, the only Tcldom I see is /System/Library/Tcl/Tcldom2.6.

Subject: Tcldom3.1/domtext.tcl,domtree.tcl are version 2.5

At:
/Library/Tcl/Tcldom3.1/domtext.tcl
wish /Library/Tcl/Tcldom3.1/domtext.tcl
Error in startup script: version conflict for package "xml::tclparser":
have 2.6, need 3.1

You will note that in:
 /Library/Tcl/Tcldom3.1/domtext.tcl
Is the following contradiction:
...
package provide domtext 2.5
...
# We need the DOM
# V2.0 gives us Level 2 Events

package require dom 2.5

The TclDOM package is installed as version 3.1, but domtext.tcl is
version 2.5

Some documentation on TclDOMtext,domtree would really be appreciated.
