Hello All,
I have several Mac's in a test bed that are bound to AD for user
login and a network mount as a backup disk. In the beginning
everything worked just fine, but now our AD has changed due to an
impending MS Exchange mail system on the way in. I need a way to
update the users netinfo record on each machine to match the changes
that have been made to the AD structure.
After poking around in the man pages for niutil, I see that there is
a -resync option, but I'm not sure if this is what I need or not,
since it doesn't seem to bring down the new info in the users AD
record on the AD server and repopulate the netinfo record on the
client machine. Is there a way to get this to happen on a large
scale using ARD3 or some such device? Maybe it is just the syntax
that I'm using, not sure, but any suggestions would be a big help.
Thanks
John
