Web Services Core Framework + HTTPS + Proxy

  • Thread-topic: Web Services Core Framework + HTTPS + Proxy

Hi,

I¹m writing a Cocoa client app which makes extensive use of Web Service
calls using the Web Services Core Framework, WSMethodInvocationCreate() etc
etc. Primarily based on the output of WSMakeStubs.

I understand (and have experienced) that the
WSMethodInvocationSetProperty(ref, kWSHTTPProxy, (CFURLRef)proxyURL);
function does not work with HTTPS through a proxy on Tiger and Panther.
Leopard seems to work just fine.

Has anyone been successful in implementing HTTPS "CONNECT" tunnelling
through the proxy on Tiger & Panther using some of the other networking
APIs?

Thanks,

Richard
