My only complaint with WOBuilder (the OSX version) is a couple of nasty bugs. The most annoying one: If I have a WOHyperlink with the 'fragmentIdentifier' binding but _not_ the 'name' binding, I find WO mangles it when cutting-and-pasting a block containing that WOHyperlink in the graphical view---or sometimes just when switching between source and graphical views. The ways it mangles it very; sometimes it switches the WOHyperlink to a WOGenericContainer set up to be an "A"---that's not what I wanted! Sometimes it completely mangles up the definition in the .wod so it's unparseable and needs to be fixed by hand.

The other main complaint is the way WOBuilder seems really bad at finding available API for both re-useable components and custom defined classes. For EO classes, sometimes it only shows the attributes, not other available methods. For other stuff it sometimes shows doesnt' show any of the methods available either, but sometimes does. Likewise for your own partial components with APIs defined, sometimes it shows them, sometimes it doesn't. It is hard to predict when this will happen, I don't know what's going on really.

Hi,
Look at AndroMDA (http://www.andromda.org) generate whatever you want from UML (via XMI)
from databases: check out middlegen (google search middlegen) middlegen generates
output form JDBC schema information.

Both have plugin architectures to add your own conversions
