Is there any particular value to wrapping Log4J Logger's in NSLog like that? Just curious

Consistency in your logiles. WebObjects is using NSLog internally. So if you would like to use log4j in your project and take advantage of its features, redirecting NSLog to log4j will ensure that internal WO logging will appear on your log4j appenders using your log4j pattenlayout just like your own logging.
