Yes, definitely use EOGenerator ..... this will make your life much easier as you make changes to your model and it can autogenerate a lot of useful EO utility code for you.

Here is my quickstart guide to EOGenerator v1.5.

.... I have not yet upgraded to EOGen 1.6, so don't know if my quickstart guide is affected or not.

This seems like quite a serious problem ... In the interim, should I
consider learning how to use a tool such as EOGenerator if I need to
generate custom class files for my EOs?

Hello all,

If anybody can post on the list when anything new about that is found.

I'll post as soon as I discover something about it.

Hi Kuon and list:

This is a late breaking issue that we found as the GM DVD were
shipping for WWDC.

The 5.3 release is missing the template file needed for
generating the custom .java files.

A work-around has already been found, and hopefully I can post
it sometime next week.

Hello,

since 5.3, my eomodeler is no longer able to generate .java file.

It say:
Template generation

Unable to write file <filePath>.

It's not a permission problem or something like that.

Any idea?
