The Future of Eclipse and WebObjects

  • Subject: The Future of Eclipse and WebObjects

I love Eclipse. I think that the on the fly compilation and the instant feedback one gets are wonderful. It was, therefore, with some ambivalence that I greeted the release of WO 5.3 and its strong marriage to Xcode.

WO 5.3 has now be out for over a week. What do the gurus think? Are Eclipse and WO's differences irreconcilable and divorce inevitable? Can the marriage be salvaged? Any marriage counsellors out there volunteering services?

And on another note, the little bee has yet to buzz in with his take on 5.3.

Richard Palmer
