Hi Stephan (et al.),

In the WO tech specs (http://www.apple.com/webobjects/specs.html), they talk about a 'Stand-alone J2SE server'.
Do you know what it is? Does it already exist into 5.2??

I believe that refers to the WebObjects deployment infrastructure / application server.

Probably a better name would be "Standalone J2SE Web Application Server"

Standalone in that it is not part of the Web server (or even any other J2EE servlet container or application server).

J2SE in that it is written using only J2SE (not J2EE).

Web Application Server in that it serves (and provides services to) your Web application.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Ashley.
