perhaps you should just turn on *some* logging.
often just 5 scattered System.out.println's will give you an idea of "where"
your app (and which app-instance) hangs. for this you need to configure a
ppath where to write a logfile. and yeah, page 92 would be indeed a good
start. :-)

mysql, mac mini with 1GB & tiger server... what kind of contest are you
taking, "webobjects pico"? are iPod nanos an allowed/valid target-hardware
for it or does my iPod shuffle also qualify? ;-)
