Title: Re: Oracle Tables showing no columns in EOModeler 5.3
Thanks to those who sent me emails, I found out that EOModeler, for some reason, requires an owner user to reverse engineer tables. I was using an “access” user. Switching to an owner for the initial model creation worked like a charm!
Thanks again!

I’m trying to learn WebObjects, so bear with me if this is a beginner question, but I’ve searched everywhere I can think of and am not finding an answer.
I’m trying to make a new model in EOModeler 5.3 against a couple of tables in an Oracle database. After entering the username, password and URL data, (which I know to be valid as I use the same fields in a Java app every day), the tool seems to be able to see all of the tables, but none of the columns come up. No error popup windows are being raised by EOModeler.
For example, when it presents the window to select primary keys, the list is empty – and if I tell it not to ask me for those, the EOModel Table view shows no attributes for any of the entities. I know it’s talking to the db since it gives a list of tables okay – and if I fudge the password it reports an appropriate error.
