The last line ought to be: [2005-11-10 10:28:14 EST] <main> Waiting for requests...

Everything looks fine, otherwise, up to what should be the second last line. Anyone know why this might be missing?

Sorry, a cut and paste error where I did not grab the last line. The last 4/5 lines are indeed as below when I just retested it.

The only things I can think of is around the time of WWDC, I installed Xcode 2.1 and WO 5.3. Seeing the number of bugs that I was encountering, I needed to downgrade back to Xcode 2.0 and WO 5.2.4.

How did you go about that?

I do not remember the details of that too well at this point. I remember it being somewhat painful, but followed some tips from others who were doing the same at that time. After removing the entire Development environment, I remember reinstalling Xcode 2.0 from my Tiger CD and WebObjects 5.2 from our base image and following the upgrade paths from there. Once it was reinstalled, it seemed to function fine. However, maybe there is some artifact that is still hanging around that is causing this.

I have not had any WO 5.2.4 issues since (except the normal WOBuilder/EOModeler crashing at least once an hour :-)). I am ready to reinstall Tiger and a new Xcode 2.0 and WO 5.2.4 environment if this is what is will take.

I've just upgraded from Xcode 2.0 and WO5.2.4 to Xcode latest, WO5.3 - and am still able to run my app as suggested (http://lds- mac.local/...) so something might be up with your system.

If you're happy to reinstall, it might be worth a shot. But first see if Chuck or anyone else has any thoughts on why the above log might be missing... it might jog someone's memory if this has been hashed out before.

I will see if anyone has responded with suggestions to this thread by tomorrow, otherwise, I may just reinstall. I may even try out the latest Xcode and WO now that I see they are officially released.

Lachlan Deck

Thanks again for your help,

Kev
