Hi,
I am not sure if you already got a response from the list, but I did

Hi All -
I am using a wohyperlink to open a new browser window that displays a
calendar (one month only). I would like the user to select a date
(wohyperlink) from the calendar and return the selected date to
referring
page.
Seems simple, but I am a newbie also and not sure how to advise how
to direct the selected date from another component to a specific
field on a referring page (WOComponent). I looked over the training
materials form Apple and searched the net without that much insight.
Are you using trying to use javascript?
What if you had a lot of dates on a WOComponent and wanted to write a
generic Calendar date picker that would return a date to specific
associated fields on the referring page? It seems like a lot of
webpages out there have this capability (like airline ticket ordering
sites). They do not seem to refresh the page after clicking on a
calendar date "popup". If you have received a solution from the
community, please post -- it would be some nice conceptual help to a
fellow newbie who will have to use this in the near future as well.
I can see many applications for this use in designing WO apps.
Currently I set a String variable in the session that collects the
selected
date.
How do I get the referring page to display the selected date in a
wotextfield and close the calendar window?
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks,
Kev
