What is the difference between using the code as you gave me and using the binding out of WOBuilder?

Using the binding seems to delay updating for quite awhile on the display side, while using the EOUtilities method updated immediately.

Sounds like your "binding" is caching something.

speaking of which, when is your book due out? I saw the cover over at aPress yesterday. Looks good!

Yeah, er, about that. We got a fair way into it and then realized that we were writing an intermediate not a beginners book. So we had to start again. Current "on the bookshelf" date is mid December. :-(
