Dear WOLearn,

SOA/WebServices is designed to be platform-software agnostic - so anything
you Publish should be able to be Consumed, no matter what the consumer is
using for the client-platform.

Although Axis and WebServices is an art unto itself; this generally requires
getting very familiar with your deployment environment.  I'm only answering
your question to confirm that WebServices are not platform dependant.  I'm
just getting my feet wet in this area myself.
