Whenever we have heard about this type of problems, we have always
responded asap. If the problem isn't easy to reproduce, we always
suggest a procedure (stop database, copy database, start with -logSQL,
...) that in min. 98% of the situations have lead to a for us
reproducible situation, i.e. we can fix the problem.
We have definitely experienced that, though happily not recently.
