Java in the doc?

  • Subject: Java in the doc?

Hello,

I'm trying to use JFreeChart in my webobjects application. Here's the
bizarre thing.... it is working, but for some reason it causes the java icon
to appear in my dock. I've done a ps -axu, and there is NOT an extra java
interpreter running.

I've tried stepping into the code, but the problem appears to be related to
the java class loader; it goes into java internals, and I cannot figure out
what exactly it is doing. A few questions:
1. Should I even care about this?
2. Is it possible that one of the jars it uses (servlet.jar, junit.jar) is
causing this behavior?

Scratching my head,
Randy
