That was it, thank you again! Man, even though I'm sure that is
obvious to most you folks out there, I wish they would include that
kind of stuff in their installation instructions. Or maybe it is and
I just missed it? I just looked again in the User's Guide and didn't
see it. Then again, being it's free I guess I shouldn't be
complaining ;-)
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
The only thing you should need to do is to add the FrontBasePlugIn
framework (/Library/Frameworks/FrontBasePlugIn.framework) to your
project. It should take care of the rest.

OK, I bit and switched form MySQL to FrontBase, and of course have
run into something of a brick wall. I changed my database in
EOModeler and even got EOModeler to connect and create my tables
in my user's schema in the WebPublisher Database example.
However, now when I run the WebPublisher example that was running
using MySQL, I get the following error:
failed to open database channel. Check your connection
dictionary, and ensure your database is correctly configured.
Could this have something to do with these vague instructions in
the FrontBase User's Guide:
"Establishing a connection requires that the driver has been
installed and that classpaths have been set up
correctly. "
So, where exactly do you set a classpath, and what do you set it
to? Sorry if this is an elementary question, but I did a search
everywhere and could find nothing about where in project builder
or Mac OS/X to set the classpath for my application, or what
exactly FrontBase needs it to be set to.
Thanks,
Jeff
