Who is the job with and what is the salary, so I might consider
applying for it myself?
(Just kidding :-)
For general WO prep for interview go to the wikis first I guess since
these have lots of reference links to other info sources:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebObjects
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Programming:WebObjects
For development, the company probably either uses XCode or Eclipse
already for WO development in which case you need to learn it using
the platform they use. Either way, Eclipse is the future. The
learning curve is high on the frameworks and tools, but if you
understand html 4, css, SQL, Eclipse, java and typical java design
patterns, then leanring WO will be much easier.

Hello,
I have just applied for a position that requires a
"commitment to leaning
WebObjects" I am excited about this, but am not sure
where to start. I have been reading through all the
documentation from Apple, but am getting somewhat
bogged down. I am hoping to have at least gotten my
hands dirty before the interview. I have been trying
to use XCode and have been messing around with
EOModeler. It seems very cool, but I have not gotten
very far. I have been looking online for other
resources/tutorials but the pickings seem slim. Any
suggestions? Am I wasting my time with XCode? Is
there a book I should get? Last but not least: If you
were interviewing someone for a position that would
require them to use WebObjects, what would you like to
see from them, knowing that they have no previous
experience?
If you can't tell - I want this job! Any suggestions
comments are welcome.
Thanks,
seth
