David:  I'm trying to achieve alternating colors for each row that is generated within the repetition.  To do this, I need to create a bgcolor attribute which uses a session variable.

Your email actually helped me think through my problem a bit more.  I simply had to make my <tr> dynamic, and upon this, it automatically becomes a <WOGenericContainer>.
