Yes.

Cannot connect to MySQL server on 127.0.0.1:3306. Is there a MySQL server running on the machine/port you are trying to connect to? (java.lang.NumberFormatException)

This is Mysql 4.1.22 on OSX server 10.4.9 with latest drivers and java 1.5

I believe there might be a work-a-round but EOModeler seems to have issues with jvm 1.5 when trying to generate sql.
