I would definitely think twice about using jass ... It's going to really complicate your eclipse life.

To clarify here, I'm not against jass.  I'm only against it's lack of nice integration with Eclipse.  I think you should learn Eclipse au natural and then make a decision as to whether or not jass is worth adding.  Coming from Xcode you have not yet experienced the eclipse way of doing things, and it's really worth working in that style for a little while first.
