wotaskd is just a WebObjects application - Java only; we run it on Linux. The source is now also available. What IS offered 'in the box' in the Mac OS X context is the mechanism to start wotaskd (launchd on Mac OS X) at boot time, but there are equivalent startup scripts in other environments. _________________
