Thanks Chuck, that was it. The 5.4.3 installation did not fully
install. Once it did, i was able to get javamonitor running.

I have a new 64-bit mac mini with Snow Leopard that i am trying to

Im not clear on the deployment path here.
I've installed xcode 3.2.1 and also WebObjects 5.4.3.
You don't need xCode.
Neither wotaskd.woa or JavaMonitor.woa were installed, so i copied
them from a machine running tiger.
When i try to crank up wotaskd via command line, i get:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/webobjects/foundation/
NSKeyValueCoding
I thing this class is in the JavaFoundation framework, but that
framework is no where to be found.
Both that and wotaskd and JavaMonitor should have been installed.
Are you sure that the WebObjects 5.4.3 installation happened?
What is the suggested method for Snow Leopard deployment if you
wish to used javamonitor?
I am not sure that you actually even have WO installed on that
machine.
Wonder also has versions of wotaskd and JavaMonitor with extensions
and bug fixes. The built versions have WO embedded in them. You
would have to do that with your apps too (not a bad idea) to run
them without WO installed on the machine.
