Go to System Preferences -> Full Keyboard Access, click on the pop-up menu and choose "Custom Keys". Now you can choose whichever combo you want. If you're on a laptop, there's a bug in the text. It says "Press Control (ctrl) + the fn key + the followig key puts focus on:", while the fn key is only required if you use function keys (which is normal, since if you press them without fn, they act as brightness control etc).
