I think it's the UI side of me that doesn't like this notion of relying
on some keyboard sequence to raise or lower a window. I prefer a more
"pure" solution that doesn't need a keyboard or extra mouse buttons.
But I have no ideas or an ideal or even a better solution? Maybe use
mouse gestures?
Well, normally I click on the border or title bar to focus and raise at
the same time. It's funny, but my more "pure" ideal is almost the
opposite: only use the keyboard; don't touch the mouse at all. I
seldom use the mouse if the UI allows me to use the keyboard
efficiently. I use the mouse when the UI is lacking, or when drawing
or doing something else which is really working with visual objects. I
don't want to have to switch to a mouse if I'm working with words, like
I normally am.
