Hi all,
I have been toying with x11 forwarding between a linux PPC Q4 "ecstasy"
(beige G3) and a Mac OS X 10.2.3 "habanero" (with Apple X11) PowerMac
G4/400 and have had success using xauth and also using:
ssh -X ecstasy /usr/X11R6/bin/xclock &
but if I login with:
ssh -X ecstasy
then at the prompt type:
/usr/X11R6/bin/xclock &
I get:
[bryan@ecstasy bryan]$ xclock
X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
X connection to ecstasy:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
I this the way it is meant to work or am I missing something?
