I had my own .xinitrc which X11 v0.2 asked to move aside, I said yes
and got twm so I put my old .xinitrc back and now I get quartz-wm as
before. So it looks like you need to create a .xinitrc file.
I used to have XonX installed so X11 v0.2 might be picking up an old
system xinitrc from somewhere.

Hello,
During the un-installation of fink/X11-beta1 (not very elegantly,
using mostly rm :( ) (followed by an installation of beta2, I lost
quartz-wm (now have twm, if I am not mistaken).
The lethal commands that I executed were:
sudo rm -rf /sw
sudo rm -rf /usr/X11R6/etc/X11 /Applications/X11.app
(for fink and X11 respectively)
Did I do irreparable damage? If not, any suggestions how I should go
about restoring this situation?
Thanks in advance,
Costas
