HI all,
I run an X11 application called "NEURON" that is not having its windows drawn
properly by X11, and it makes it unusable. I am trying to figure out it this
is a bug with the code or with X11 so I can contact the developers (on either
the X11 or the NEURON side) and get it fixed. When you pull up a new window
(a graph for instance), they normally have handles on the lower right hand
corner for resizing. When the application is run in X11, new windows do not
show up with handles. I would really love to use X11 as a server, and to have
the others who want to start using NEURON not have to go through the
XDarwin/WM install process.
Can anyone tell me me why this might be happening, and who I can talk to to
figure out if its some sort of non-standard code the developers have used to
call new windows (although it works fine on every other platform and WM,
including WindowMaker running on X11.) Since it is probably not that, who can
I talk to at Apple to get this corrected so we can use this application with
X11 in future releases???
Thanks for any help,
John
