I think I generally agree, but it could be argued that GTK+ -- as the main
interface library -- is maybe similar to Aqua, while Bonobo -- the higher
level object library -- is more like Cocoa, and glib -- the low level
library supporting Gnome -- is ...Darwin or the BSD layer?

I'm not sure the comparisons are really meaningful though...
